In a word, this is BRILLIANT. Thank you SIR.
The aircraft flies very nicely in B.A.T. The aircraft is quite "squirrelly" at altitude, as no doubt the original was.

Your thoughtful inclusion of a Photoshop template inspired me to build a couple of new skins:
- Spitfire VII 602 SQN Skaebrae Flight MD114
- Spitfire VII 131 SQN RAF Harrowbeer MD172

I learned a little more history along the way. Not all "high altitude" spitfire schemes were the same.
Alas, building a functional RAF Skaebrae in the Orkneys is proving to be a tab harder...but I love learning...

I should mention that I'm a complete Il-2 newbie but have learned enough about politics to ask nicely.
What's your best advice for sharing new skins based on your aircraft model to the "broader" community?
...or even...should I?

Done and duly submitted to M4T for "publication". We'll see how it goes. It was my first post there.

There were a few things I noticed in the course of "it'll never be perfect anyway"
- Providing a *.PSD template was critical to my understanding.
- I couldn't, for love or money, change the spinner colour. Which tells me that I don't understand how IL-2 chooses that variable from your MkVII model. Using one of my skins on a stock Mark IX is amusing. Remember the Psychedelic Monster B-25? You ain't seen nothin' yet.
- I note that the artful "shading" and "rivet-lines" are not yet extended to the "extended wingtips"...which makes them look too "clean".
- Finally I note that "dammit, why didn't I provide a skin for the essential wingman at RAF Skeabrae?"

All of this, of course, will be an excuse for "highflyers version 1.1"

Hi bumpy,
I remember for this release the spinner uses separate texture,
in the next release it is mapped to the main skin texture & has waz prop effect.
All this won't effect your new skins.

Can I include these new skins into full release ?

It's still some time before finished but it is progressing.
Majority of work is being done on new 3d etc for pit.
