Gentlemen, is my Tempest mod installation OK? If I activate the OPTIONAL NEW TEMPEST-V ENGINE SOUNDS mod, my HSFX Typhoon´s sounds are changed too.

You may be new to IL-2 1946 & may not be aware ...
For a long time custom sounds were not an option to a Stock IL-2 game (With No Mods).

I just spoke recently with some people who were long time players, some knew but some were not clear of the difference.
Additional / custom sounds & sound packs are an option to use in Stock versions of IL-2 as well as modded versions.
* I think this option has only been available since version 4.11, please correct me if im wrong *

You must have the following line enabled in your Conf.ini
allowCustomSounds=1


Prior to IL-2 4.11 custom sounds were only available to people using a modded version of IL-2.
Custom sounds, in the past (& can still be used in this way) were used either within a folder located within your MODS folder, or within the root folder of your FILES folder (This is what HSFX uses).

I have tested it in 4.12 HSFX 7 & 4.13.4 but perhaps you have another version ?
Perhaps you have another Tempest Mod ?

The Gun button should only press in when you fire (same as Spitfire or Hurricane) but perhaps it is not working for you ?
Does the Canopy opening wheel animate ?

There's nothing extraordinary about it.
Your Tempest 11lbs cockpit code works without changing anything.
For the Typhoon Mk.IB Mid and Late it is sufficient to give the correct name Class used for these aircraft.
Only the Typhoon Early should integrate only the part of the code that concerns the radiator handle (Z_Rad1) and the handle pull button (Z_BUT) !

I had a little more adaptation work because I don't use the same Class aircraft and cockpit names for all these aircraft.
