... you're sure right, Doc, that's why we are still here, more than 18 years after release, THX to modders, skinners etc ... ;)
Sure...I agree.

You're talking about IL-2 Sturmovik?

That was the beginning.
Until this year, I was "flying" on MFCS 1 & 2.
It was a "chock"...

Yes , it is awesome !
The original game was perhaps not perfect , but it provided an auspicious pattern . It was intented to simulate historical missions , but also " what if " missions ( never forget the " 1946 " ! ) . It was also very user friendly from the beginning .
I would like to thank Oleg Maddox and his team for this .

I would also like to thank all the modders who made this game always more great , realistic and beautiful .

But there is still much to do !

For example , a lot of new planes were added , but very often these new planes don't have their own cockpit...

There are so many things id like to say, so so many.

Oleg, is awesome & you just know instinctively when you feel you can trust someone & feel good about them. Its easy to overlook how someones personality & energy can influence & effect the direction of a thing.
Statistics are BS ! ... don't trust them

I can't agree more with all of you.
I still fly my trusty old HSFX7.0.3 , and until the newer sims can boast a broader set of
aircraft , maps , vehicles and ships , I don't see myself being strongly tempted to move
on.
A big thanks goes out to all the modders and skinners , and the developers of SEOW for
continuing to squeeze the value out of this venerable old flight sim.

Hello,
I think it's a real good and bright "modding policy" in improving and upgrading what already exists.
Planes of WWII first.
Planes which truly were flying during this war.
A beautiful & historical Spitfire or A6M_x, or Bf109 are more interesting.
This is (for me) the reason for exceptional long IL2's life.
YOU are accountable of it and...too discreet.
Your modding work is extraordinary.
Congratulations.
Long life!
